I prayed for a friend BAPA...and YOU came along...

I asked YOU BAPA... to fill up my soul

so YOU filled up my soul & made my life whole.

I asked YOU BAPA...  to stay close & help me through pain

but instead YOU stay with me through sunshine & rain.

BAPA... My faith can be weak & my strength all gone

but no matter the trial YOU help me go on.

When confusion hits me & I don't understand

BAPA... YOU remind me to trust YOU for my life YOU've planned.

I prayed for a friend BAPA...and YOU came along

& each day YOU fill my life with a song.

When I'm feeling lonely & sadness finds me

BAPA... YOU reach me & touch me & help me to see.

That no matter how rough & hard things appear

BAPA... YOU'll always love me & always stay near.

BAPA... YOU'll be my freind through good times & bad

& YOU'll hold me close when I'm feeling sad.

BAPA...I'm sometimes afraid & I need YOUR strong arm

& YOU whisper softly, "I'll keep YOU from harm.

BAPA said...Just TRUST IN ME.., for I LOVE YOU SO,

& I'll protect you wherever you go.

& I promise you that all will be fine".

I BEGGED BAPA...   to come into my heart

& since that day we've not been apart.

BAPA...YOU stay close to me never leaving my side

& I know in YOUR arms YOU'll let me hide.

BAPA...All that I have I know comes from YOU

& forever I'll cherish all that YOU do.

THANK YOU BAPA...  for all of YOUR LOVE
